Sunni Group Kidnaps 18 Government Workers

Friday in Baghdad, Iraq 18 government workers and soldiers were kidnapped. This act seemed to have a solid connection to the former raping of a Sunni woman by a Shiite police force. The group that took the blame for these actions were al-Qaida related Sunni Group.

In Alexandria Egypt, Abel Kareem Nabil, a 22 year old man was convicted Thursday for insulting Egypt and Islam's presidents. The man was sentenced to four years in prison for his actions.

Japanese stock falls as the dollar rises

Asian countries have been witnessing drastic changes recently in the value of the dollar. The power of the dollar has been growing and changing in yen and euros. The dollar raised in value to 119.35 yen in Tokyo Friday at 8:50am. The value the just the day before was 119.33 yen.

Complaints have been continually sent to YouTube expressing Japanese companies displeasure with the posting of unauthorized videos. YouTube has agreed to post several warnings in Japan to insure that the uploading stops.

Attacks in Baghdad leave 62 Killed

Attacks in Iraq have become a common occurrence over the past few years. Recently the mass attacks have occurred in the Shiite, Sunni and Hillah. An attack took place in Hillah that totaled to a drastic 57 people killed by two terrorist strapped with explosives.
